Picasa, from Google has an interesting functionality; when you click on "Explore" you can see there a link like "Where in the world" (posible that this link will not work). And I play a little with this. There you get some random picture and you have to find where are this, using this picture details (nature, humans, animals, arhitecture ...). And this can be nice: you learn to made the diference beteen cultures/regions/people ... Also you find a lot of similarities between this pictures, and the places where are coming.

What I remembered: in highschool, my geography teacher love to teach us the capitals of the worlds. On tests we receive a empty map (only the frontiers was drawed there) and we should complete it with the country name and the country capital. I sugest to my teacher this game. I belive that is more educative that learning the country and the capitals ...
